There was a man whose wife had many affairs. She would leave with men and the man would forgive and return her back to the home. She would continue to have affairs and had children that may or may not have been her husbands.
How uncomfortable and difficult that must have been. Family talked about him, friends talked about him, everyone talked about him. His wife did not understand. However, because God told him to stay, told him to go get this wife, told him to love her, the man stayed. And eventually, she found help, she repented, and God healed the marriage. A true example of forgiveness, love, hope, and trusting God's will. Are you willing to do whatever God ask of you? Are you willing to really stay on the job where the supervisor speaks negative daily? Are you willing to walk away from the relationship that makes you feel good? Are you willing to give a random person your last dime because God told you to give? We often pray, "let your will be done," but will often operate out of our flesh and own desires. God has a bigger and better plan. His will is better than our ways. Whatever God is telling you to walk away from, do it. Whatever God is telling you to walk toward, do it. Trust Him! Prayer: Lord, you are mighty and strong! You are loving! Please give us strength to trust your will over our ways. We know your will is best for us. We love and adore you. Today, we will submit to your will and trust your way. In Jesus name, Amen. Scripture: Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10, KJV
