I am praying for you today:
I pray for peace. I pray for protection. I pray for strength. I pray for wisdom. I pray for health. I pray for love. I pray for joy. I pray for victory. I pray for an overflow of blessings. Lord, thank you in advance for what you are doing in the lives of your people today. Amen. Romans 8:26-27, Matthew 5:44, 1 Thessalonians 5:17

I received some news. Not the worst and not the best, just news. My mind, of course, is going crazy. I refuse to let the thoughts overpower my praise. I am going to praise Him in advance. I am going to trust Him.
I was sitting at my desk and my devotional was open to the front cover. On the front cover is my acronym for truth, which I am standing on my truth, this year. The "T" means, trust Him. I had to smile, God is showing me, He is here. He is reminding me of the journey we are taking together. I said I would trust Him, through it all. So trust, I must..... I just encouraged myself!!! Whatever you are going through, good or bad, trust your Father, is there! He will not leave or forsake you! He is in control! The enemy can not have what or who do not belong to Him!! You do not belong to the enemy, you are a child of the most high God!! Encourage yourself!!! Before you react, look for God in it...
Look for God in everything, the good and the bad. Remember, it is not about you... Look for Him in it.... I know it was bad news... but His Word tells us ALL things work together for the good, for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose... look for God in it... Remember, you have the victory... Remember, you are covered by the blood that was shed on Calvary cross... Look for God in it.... Romans 8:28, Psalm 23, Psalm 136 I was absent for a few days. I went away with some friends, more like sisters. Our God- ordained friendship started in 2010. Since our meeting, our lives have never been the same. They are more than friends, they are my prayer partners, my support system, my critics, and my confidantes. Most importantly, they love the Lord as I do. We recognize we are not perfect women but we serve a perfect God.
I pray that everyone reading this post today, have those type of friends. Friends that you can spend a weekend with to regroup, recharge, and reaffirm. Some of us are getting ready to go through, especially me, and I am glad I have my sisters around me, who will not only give me godly counsel, but will wrap me in their arms and remind me to trust God. I dedicate today's reading to S.W.A.T... Proverbs 17:17, Proverbs 18:24 Monday is usher board meeting.
Tuesday is marriage ministry meeting. Wednesday is Bible study. Thursday is youth ministry meeting. Friday is fellowship night. Saturday is volunteer meeting. Sunday is church service. Is this how your calendar looks? Whenever the church doors open, you are there. Are you taking time for yourself, are you spending time with Jesus? Yes, we are to serve but do not forget about the One you are serving. If you are not lacking in your time with Jesus, great!! But if you know you are missing something.... review your schedule... maybe it is time to say no...... Ephesians 2: 8-9 He loves you.
He loves your walk He loves your talk He loves your faults He loves your praise He loves your prayers He loves everything about you He created you, and you are good! He loves!! After I wrote the title of today's post, I really wanted to drop the mic....
That is all you need to know today, He lives!! I do not have any powerful words to add to that statement, He lives. Because He lives, you are good, no you are better than good, you are great!! You can face the day! You can face the week! You can face anything that comes your way, because He lives!! He lives!!! ...drops mic.... 1 Corinthians 15:20, John 14:16, Pondering over John 3:16 this morning....
He loved us so much... He loved us so much.... that He gave... when you love someone... truly love someone, you will give.. you will give all you have for that one person... God so loved you, that He gave you, His only begotten Son... that should be enough to make you shout out in praise... Just think... He did it just for you... Just you... He loved.... He gave... When God said "it" was yours.
It is so. That's it. No doubt about it. It is done. He said it. So why you worried about what the people are saying? Why you worried about how they treating you? Why you worried about what "it" looks like right now? My question to you is, have He ever failed you? So, you think He will now? I want you to stand up and know "it" is yours! Right now, in Jesus name!! It is yours!! No demon in hell, or on Earth, can keep you from "it"!!!!! "READY"..... I was reading the New Living Translation and the word ready was in my passage of scripture about four times. It made me think. Am I ready? Am I prepared for the day He returns? Did I do all He purposed me to do? Have I followed the commandments to love Him and my neighbor?
How does one become ready? Ready.... that is my focus today.... am I ready? My question for you, are you ready? Are you prepared for your rewards? Only you know the answer. As you continue through the day, think on that word, "ready". What does it mean for you? Ready.... Luke 12:35-40 |
