Preparation

Like many others, I have vowed to eat better in 2017 and lose the 15 pounds that jumped on me during the holidays. In order to eat better, I found that preparation was the key. I meal prep on Sundays. Preparation helps me not stray, saves me money, time, and energy.
​Preparation is definitely the key for me.....
I also find that preparation spiritually, is vital. I am up daily praying at 5 AM with my prayer partner. It does not stop there. I also pray to Him throughout the day. I read His word daily. I have the Bible and devotion apps on my phone, I sometimes carry my actual Bible to work and have it on hand at my desk.  I have another prayer partner and you will find me praying again between 7- 8 AM during my morning commute. Now I am not boasting, I am sharing what works for me. Preparing myself helps me not stray, saves me money, time, and energy. It also gives me peace in knowing I am not facing the day alone. 

Before you face each day, prepare physically and spiritually. We are definitely in a battle.
