Prayer

Father God, we come together this morning to give you all the praise and all the glory. We magnify your holy name. We honor you and adore you. You are Lord of Lords, King of Kings! You are mighty, wonderful, and full of mercy and grace. You are all knowing, all powerful, and omnipresent! You are our Father which art in heaven! You are the great I AM!!
We come humbly before you, calling upon your name,  praying that you be a shield against the storms. We pray that you be a shelter for the lost, lonely, fearful, anxious, and doubters. Help us to remember you are sovereign. You are in control. It does not matter what it looks like, what it feels like, you are in control. We trust you, Father God. We lift up those families who lost loved ones in Texas, we pray that you give them a peace like no other. Your word tells us to be absent from the body is to be present with you. We all have an appointed time, no matter the circumstances, you are in control and for that we give you all praise. 
As the winds blow and the rains fall, we trust that you Father God, are directing them in the way they will go. The winds and the rains obey you and you only. Lord you are mighty!!! 
We know that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We know that all things work together for the good, for those who love you and are called according to your purpose. We know we are more than conquerors through you. We know!!
Father God, we thank you in advance! We praise you in advance! We will continually bless your name, because you are good, you are great, you are!!
Thank you for peace. Thank you for calmness. Thank you. In all things, we give you thanks.
