Motives

What motivates you? Are you getting up in the morning just to go to work? Just to draw a paycheck? Are you raising your children, just because they exist? Are you talking to people just so you can puff yourself up? Are you giving to people just so they can give back to you and say how wonderful you are?
Honestly look at why you do the things you do? What are your motives? God knows the heart of man. Is your heart an indication of the God you serve? Only you can answer these questions. I'm not for sure why this is on my heart today, but I'm going to make a conscious choice today, to look at my motives. I'm going to pray, Lord if anything I do today is displeasing in your sight, please forgive me and take it from me.
