Disappointment....

Have you ever prayed for something and God said, "No." Were you disappointed? Did you have some resentment? Did you lack understanding? How long did you experience those negative feelings? Did you begin to question God? 
I think at one time or another, we have all received a no from God. 
But God!! 
Initially, it may be hard, but the next time you receive a no answer, I want you to thank God!!
Thank God for his wisdom, thank him for protecting you, thank him!! He knows what is best for you. He can see the bigger picture, you cannot. It is those times when you really have to trust him and lean not to your own understanding.  God is a good God, that loves you immensely, he desires you to have the best of everything, and sometimes that means withholding some of your requests from you.  Trust him!! Praise him!!
