Covered

There is assurance in being covered.
When it rains we use an umbrella to cover our  body and we walk in confidence that we will stay dry.
Sometimes the rain and wind are strong and you may get a little wet, but most of your body remains dry. 
When the sun is beaming we seek shade to cover us.
The shade provides some coolness but most of the heat is still present. 
Those who are in relationship with Jesus are covered by the blood.
Chaos is present in the world but we can walk in God-confidence because He is in control.
We can remain cool in the presence of the "heat" happening today. 
How you may ask? The WORD. Read His WORD. Stand on His PROMISES. 
KNOW the POWER of your COVERING! 

Prayer: Lord God, thank you for the blood! We know there is power in the blood. We know we are covered and we can walk by faith and not by sight. We give you glory today! We give you honor today! For you are GOD!! 
AMEN.
