Blending...

For breakfast this week I have been drinking smoothies. I have used various colors of fruit and vegetables such as yellow pineapples, red strawberries, green spinach, yellow carrots, brown flax seed, green protein powder, and other color variations. When I blended them together, every time, the resulting color was green. Each day my smoothie tasted so good!

What is my point? 
Why is it that we as people of different race, different beliefs, different cultures, different sexuality, and other differences, can not blend together and be great! Underneath all our differences, our blood is red. I promise you as a nurse over 20 years, I have yet to see a different color blood come from the body. 

The flavors in my smoothie respected one another, neither was overpowering, they became one without losing their flavor.
