As a heart failure nurse, I recommend to all patients, avoid salt. Salt causes you to be thirsty, thus increasing fluid intake, which can make you full of fluid, weakening the heart...
Today, I want you to add salt to your life and those surrounding you. Matter of fact, I recommend you be the salt! Salt does two things, it preserves and it adds flavor.
Be the one that preserves the Word of God. Share the Word. Keep the Word in your heart. Live the word daily. Be a walking, living testimony.
Add some salt to those around you. Tell them about the Word and how good He is. Remind them to taste and see that the Lord is good!
As I mentioned earlier, salt also makes one thirsty. The more salt you add, the more thirsty they become. They begin to seek the water, the Living Water!! They become so full of the Holy Spirit, the heart becomes stronger!!
So, add salt!
