This song has been on my mind for the past few weeks. This morning, a particular word came to mind. Hasten. It means to be quick to do something.
I want to encourage you today, hasten to the throne. Everyday. First thing. Hasten. Be quick to go to the throne. Listen to what God is telling you. Take those concerns and issues of life to the throne. Be quick to praise and worship God. Hasten. 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Philippians 4:6

Good morning!! Two simple words, but mighty powerful!
Today, when I say good morning, I am praying blessings over everyone I encounter. I want them to have a good, great, awesome, morning! I want them to obtain every good thing God has for them! I want them to walk in purpose, on purpose! I am so excited to greet people today with prayers of blessings!! Let me start with you.... GOOD MORNING! GOOD MORNING! GOOD MORNING! Blessings! Psalm 118:24 Pray and pray some more. We all say things from a place of hurt. Pray and pray some more. Do not take it personal. Pray and pray some more. Remember, we wrestle not against flesh and blood. Pray and pray some more. Look in the mirror, what did you say? Did your words come from hurt? Pray and pray some more. How do you heal? Forgive. Love. Pray and pray some more.
God is awesome! God is great!! Let us thank Him for this plate!
No, this is not a food blessing. We are thanking God for the day of provision He is providing. Thank you Lord, for the meat (The Word) you will provide this day! Thank you Lord, for those extra heaping sides of mercy and grace! Thank you Lord, for the Living Water, that fills us up everyday! Thank you Lord, for the sweet, victory dessert of salvation! Thank you Lord!!!!!! Thank you Lord!!!!! As I was talking to God this morning and reflecting on this week events, I had a revelation.
I know Psalm 23, I can quote it without difficulty, most people can. But this morning, my mind shifted because I always thought "the valley of the shadow of death", strictly meant if I personally and physically was in the path of death. My time to go home. Well, this week someone dear to me gained heavenly wings and I was in the valley of the shadow of death. I walked and will continue to walk with my friend and the family because He will not leave us and His Rod and Staff is comforting us. It is so amazing when God reveals His words to you, when He gives you what you need on your journey, and speaks to you through His Word. Thank you, Lord. Thank you for peace. Thank you for comfort. Thank you for joy. Thank you for memories. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Psalm 23 When you trying to make sense out of what you do not understand, what do you do?
As I continue on the road before me, I have learned to trust God, more and more. I cannot get carried away by emotions. I cannot control every situation, nor do I want to. I have learned to meditate on scripture. I have learned to pray without ceasing. I have learned to live for today, because tomorrow is not promised. So, what do you do when you cannot make sense out of your current circumstance? Word of encouragement: search the scriptures, seek His face, and submit to His Will..... Proverbs 3:5-6 Smile. Matter of fact, laugh. Why should you laugh? Because everything the enemy meant for bad, God turned it around for your favor!!
Laugh at that joker! The enemy thought he had you.... thought he had you. But God!!! So smile, God got it. Laugh, God got it! Romans 8:28 This is all I have this morning.....
Jesus Jesus Jesus Sometimes you just have to say the name.... Jesus Jesus Jesus I was reminded of that on yesterday. Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Say the name..... Philippians 2:10-11 When you are in a battle, depend on Jesus. Do not worry what others are thinking.
Do not depend on yourself. Stand. Meditate on scripture. Keep your peace. Follow God even when you do not understand. Sometimes people have to go. If they go, let them. Do not force them to come back into your life. Do not allow them to use you for their selfish needs. Let them go. Trust God. Even if it is your own child, your spouse, or someone you hold in your heart. Let them go. Trust God. Wow!!! It is November, already!! Can you believe it?
I do not know about you, but this has been a great year!! Not a perfect year but a great year!! As I look back over the year, God has done some truly amazing things and He is still working!! That is a shouting moment!! He bought us to this point, some did not make it, but by His grace and mercy we are still here!! He has work for us to do!! As I begin this day, I just want to tell the Lord, "Thank you"!!! You kept me!! You never left me!! You continue to lead and guide me!! Do you have a praise in your spirit?? Praise Him!! I am looking forward to all the great things God will do in 2018, not just for me but for my family, friends, and you!! I have a great expectation for what is coming!!! If this year is ending with you in a storm, hang on!!! God is carrying you through the storm and you will have VICTORY!!!! If you are not in a storm, pray for those who are. Pray, they don't lose their faith and they keep pressing through!! Blessings!!!!! |
