Yesterday, everyone celebrated love.
For some it was a reminder of being single. I was prepared to go home after work and write a paper. Understand, I have been single and celibate for over or close to ten years (I stop counting.) I am comfortable in my singleness. I told everyone I encountered on yesterday "Happy Valentine." I have two nuggets to share with you this morning, if you waiting on love, or anything at this time in your life. 1. Do not be discouraged because others around you appear to have what you are longing for, God is preparing yours specifically for you! Celebrate with them! Romans 12:15A is a reminder to "rejoice with them that do rejoice." Encourage yourself, you are next in line!! 2. Secondly, do not focus on what you want, focus on the ONE who is going to provide everything you want!! I spent time last night with one who desires "companionship" and as I spoke to him, God reminded me, we must be patient in all things. We must continue to work in the vineyard while waiting on Him to do what He does. We talked about Ruth working in the field being discovered by Boaz, (I have heard this preached a few times) but we must be careful not to just work in any or the first field that comes along. She was placed in that field by God, she did not look and choose the field. Be careful where you sowing. Let God place you where you need to be at the right time, in the right position. Scripture: Psalm 40:1- I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry (KJV) Prayer: Father God thank you for patience, trust, faith, and hope in YOU this morning. You know everything about your children and you know when we are ready for the blessings you have for us. Give us peace in waiting. Give us joy in waiting. Continue to keep our minds and hearts focused on submitting to your will. We know you love us and will provide every need and desire that lines up with your will. For this we give you praise! In Jesus name, Amen.

If you let go and truly trust God, He will take care of the things concerning you.
Give it to Him, immediately. What seems big to you is small to God. Trust Him with ALL your concerns. Remember there is nothing impossible for God. God cares for you. God loves you. He desires to be in relationship with you. He sent His Son for you. Scripture: For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything he does. Psalm 33:4 Prayer: Father God thank you for being the ALL-knowing, ALL-seeing Father! Give me the strength today to walk by faith and not by sight. Help me not to worry but with prayer and supplication and thanksgiving make my request to you. I thank you! I give you glory! I trust you Lord to never leave nor forsake me. I trust you know the plans you have for me in this current situation. Thank you, Father. In Jesus Name, Amen. |
