This morning while reading Matthew 25, the story of the "talents", I noticed something I had not before. The NLT version states, "dividing it in proportion to their abilities," in reference to the bags of gold He gave each one before taking his journey.
So, God has given you something. He may have given "it" to someone else. However, He gave yours according to your ability. What are you going to do with "it"? Please do not be like the servant who buried his "talent" where it did no earthly good. Your "it" is for the upbuilding of the kingdom, to invest in the lives of others. He gave "it" to you according to your ability, which means you can do it!!! Be encouraged today! Go forward today with your "it"! Prayer: Father God, thank you for the talents you have given to your people. May they go forward advancing the kingdom that you get all the glory. In Jesus name, Amen.

God has given you a vision.
It is clear. You start the vision. However, you do not get the reaction you think you should get, so you become discouraged. You think you have failed God. Child of God, you have not failed God, you are looking for validation from the wrong source. God gave you the the vision, not man. Trust the seeds you are sowing for the kingdom will harvest, in due season. Stop looking for man to praise and reward you. Your reward is serving the One who called, qualified, and equipped you. Prayer: Father God, thank you for clear vision. Thank you for providing every need. Thank you for blessing every seed planted. Thank you for leading and guiding us on the path for your purpose and our destiny. In Jesus Name, Amen. Hello! Wordsbymapson.com is resuming this year! I appreciate everyone who has remained faithful to the ministry by continuing to pray. God has exciting things planned for 2020 and I am ready!! With that being said I want share a word today:
BALANCE.... Each year God gives me a specific word, just for me. This year it is BALANCE. The vision is to BALANCE every aspect of my life. Mentally, physically, financially, and spiritually; not in that order. Today, I want to share the key way to BALANCE YOUR LIFE. Matthew 6:33, Seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness first and then all things will be added to you (paraphrase). Each day should begin with reading and studying the Word combined with communicating with God through prayer. I promise you when you consistently start your day with Him, you will begin to see a change in every area of your life. I know there are not enough hours in the day, you have to get the children ready for school, you have a long commute in the mornings, and/or you do not know what to pray.... Start where you are, do what you can, trust God. Seek Him first, Submit to His will. Prayer Lord God, thank you. Lord, please remove the distractions that are blocking spending time with you each day. I want to know you. I want to serve you. Lord use me, today, that your kingdom is glorified. In Jesus name, Amen. Matthew 6:33-34 |
