God is so awesome. He protects you from dangers seen and unseen. He allows you to see some of the people and circumstances He protects you from, but just imagine what you do not see. The dangers unseen. What a mighty God we serve.
Thank you Lord, for protection. Thank you for being a strong tower and refuge. Thank you for being a shield of protection. You know what is best and you know what we can bare. Thank you Lord! Amen. Psalms 3

I declare peace for you today.
May the peace of God cover you as you walk the path He has for you. There is nothing like having peace. Peace allows you to look at the circumstances of life with a calm reaction. Peace allows you to keep going forward, because you know nothing can turn you off course. Your eyes are lifted to the hills, where all your help comes from. Peace. There is nothing like having peace. Peace in knowing who you are in Christ. Peace in knowing God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Peace. Whatever you are facing today, look over "it" and see victory.
The devil cannot have your children. The devil cannot have your marriage. The devil cannot have your wealth. The devil cannot have your health. The devil cannot have anything that belongs to you. What is for you, is for you. Simple. So whatever "it" is, look over "it" and see victory. You win!!! Romans 8:31 I really enjoy bargain shopping at thrift stores. It really excites me to find what somebody thought was junk and make it my own treasure. Sometimes I find things with an imperfection or two. I try to figure out if I can cover it up or fix it. I think to myself how bad is the imperfection?
************************** I want you to know, it is perfectly fine not to be perfect. Guess what? Nobody on this side of heaven is perfect. We all have imperfections. The great thing about it is, we have Jesus! We have been bought with a price. No matter what the imperfection is, He thinks you are a treasure. He loves you. You do not have to cover up from Him. He sees everything. Stand before Him and give Him your all, imperfections and all. You can not fix yourself. He can and will fix what you think is broken. Don't cover up. Today is my mother and my father birthday. It is with a joyful heart that I celebrate them both today. My father is now with Our Father and I celebrate him today. My mother is in another state but we talk frequently. As I was thinking about my parents, I had to thank God!
See, He knew me before I was formed in my mother's belly. He knew who my father would be as well. The relationships were not and are not perfect but they are mine. The relationships with my parents help form me today. What am I saying? I am saying if your relationship with a mother/father is strained, don't blame them, talk to God about it. God blessed you with those parents. Look for God in the relationship, what is He trying to teach you? What can you do differently? How can you reconcile the relationship? The ultimate goal is reconciliation, even if you feel like you have done no wrong. Your parent may be an addict, prostitute, alcoholic, or abusive. God loves them and you need to learn to love them too. Thank God for your parents. He predestined you for them and them for you. Happy Thanksgiving from One Word for Life Ministry, LLC.
As you enjoy this day of thanksgiving remember those who may not think they have anything to be thankful for. Remember those that are depressed, suicidal, and lonely during the holiday season. Look around you; can you think of anyone that may need a phone call from you today or invitation to dinner? Let today, no, let everyday, be a day of love in action. Be thankful by giving back. We are blessed to be a blessing to others. In all things, give thanks. Have a great day!!! I was eating my breakfast this morning and as I was eating my eggs a thought came to mind.
There are several ways to cook an egg. A hard boiled egg is firm and cooked all the way through. A fried egg is hard on the edges and if not cooked all the way, it is runny/soft on the inside. A scrambled egg is all over the place. ***************************** Where are you in your faith walk? Are you firm like the boiled egg? Are you without a doubt, firm all the way through, and know you are covered? Are you like the fried egg, hard on the edges but as soon as a little shift occur, you get all runny in your faith? Are you like the scrambled egg, just all over the place, sometimes you have faith and other times you are so doubtful about what God can do? ************************** No matter where you are, if you notice, all of the eggs had to be exposed to heat, it is the intensity of the heat, and the length of time in the heat, that help form the egg. Each egg was also exposed to and had some form of reaction to some outside interference, the boiled egg least affected. Consider your faith.....is more heat required? do your reactions to interference need adjusting? Enjoy your breakfast! :-) Luke 22:31-32, 2 Corinthians 5:7 Wait.
Be of good courage. Be patient. Don't give up. It will work out. Words of people trying to encourage you while you wait on the manifestation of your prayers. Raise your hand if you tired of hearing those words and you want to come out of your storm right now! You been praying and waiting on that child for 12 years. You been praying and waiting for a husband/wife for many years. You praying and waiting for that wayward child who is living on the streets. You praying and waiting on a health breakthrough. You praying and waiting... praying and waiting.... ************************ Let's look at this another way. What is happening as you are praying and waiting? God is working it out for your good. In the praying and waiting, there is growth and endurance. While you are in the storm, God is calming the raging seas. He is protecting you from dangers seen and unseen. He is protecting that child on the street and positioning that child for greatness. He is preparing you. He will allow the manifestation in due time. In His time. So, don't look at it as praying and waiting, look at it as preparing and protecting. There are people and circumstances God is moving out the way and there are some he have to put in position before your manifestation breaks through. In due time...... Good morning!!!
As we prepare for the holiday of Thanksgiving, let us remember to be thankful everyday and in all things; even the things that appear bad. I am thankful for so many things this morning. I am thankful in the midst of the little storm I am going through right now. I woke up this morning, and it is cold. My furnace has been broke and it is currently being fixed but right now, I am having to endure the cold. Am I walking around cursing my situation? Am I walking around worried what I am going to do? No, I am making do with my oven and portable heaters. I am still full of joy! I am praising and worshiping my Lord this morning, in a cold house. It may be cold on the inside, but somebody is sleeping under a bridge this morning, wishing they were in a house. So I am counting it all joy and thankful for my blessing. Look for God in everything and give thanks, even when it look and feel bad. Thank Him that He will give you strength and resources to endure. Be full of thanksgiving. 2 Corinthians 12:9, 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Some would say that having integrity in today's world is impossible. I beg to differ. Those that are called by His name, must have integrity. We must speak against wrong doings. We must take a stance for what is right.
You may be labeled as "upset", "frustrated", or as I was recently called "passionate". Yes, I am passionate about people. Yes, I am passionate about what is right. Yes, I will take a stance to protect victims. Of course, I will do none of this, except I am led by the Holy Spirit. The word of God, reminds us we are a peculiar people and we are the salt of the earth. Are you walking with integrity? Or as long as everyone is happy, you are quiet? Stand for Jesus, or you will fall for anything. 1 Peter 2:9, Matthew 5: 13 |
