I do not know your story and you do not know mine.
I do not know if today will be a test for you or a testimony for you.
We are going to thank Him in advance for the day.
If it be a test or a testimony, He deserves all the glory!!
Thank you for this day, we will be glad and rejoice in it!
We have been given another opportunity to live today.
So, if it is a day of test, thank you!
If it is a day of testimony, thank you!
Thank you, Lord!! Thank you, Lord!! Thank you, Lord!!
I bought a glass vase over the weekend. When I bought the vase it was not totally cleaned. I cannot describe the look completely, but I thought I would be able to remove the particles on the vase.
I took it home and I let it soak overnight in water. The next morning, I washed the vase and the particles/residue was gone.
You may have some issues concerning you and feel like you are unclean. I plead with you to spend some time with the Living Water, as long as you need. When you spend time with the Living Water, He will let you see you are clean through Him.
The vase mentioned earlier, would not have been able to clean itself. You cannot clean yourself, you need the help, direction, guidance, of the Living Water, Jesus.
Let Jesus remind you of your greatness through Him. You are clean by the blood of Jesus!
Praise God! Happy Sunday!!
It is time, it has been long overdue, for you to move. You are waiting for people and circumstances to move out of your way. Why? God already showed you it was time to make a change, yet you continue to hold on. Stop waiting on them to take a hint, and move.
You stand up, put one foot in front of the other, and step. Yes, it is just that simple. When God told you it was time, He gave you everything you needed to make the move. Trust God, not man.
Move into your purpose. Move into your calling. Move into your victory.
In the spirit of President's Day, I want to offer up a prayer for leadership. Whether you are a leader in your home, church, government, or community....
Lord, I want to thank you for being God.
Thank you for reigning supreme.
Thank you for being, all- loving, all- knowing, full of mercy and grace.
Lord thank you for those you have placed in leadership. Lord allow them to be humble before you at all times. We know it was you that placed them in office and not man. Guide them Lord. Teach them Lord. Lord we pray for peace surrounding them and their families. We trust that all things will work out for our good and you will get all the glory.
Thank you Lord. Thank you Lord. In Jesus name, Amen. Amen. Amen.
I want to share with you....
One day, I was sitting on my bed (years ago, I am thinking early 2000), and the Holy Spirit was speaking to me. I was asking for direction. I was asking for my purpose. I honestly and sincerely wanted answers because I was feeling lost. Guess what happened? The Holy Spirit told me to open my bible and He took me to various verses. I would hear the Spirit say to me,"stop, read there", it was absolutely an awesome experience. Better than that, I knew He was confirming my purpose at that time. He did not give me everything, just where I was at that moment. If He had showed me today, I would have ran screaming!!!!
Today, I want you to go to Romans 8. Close your eyes and pray for the Spirit to reveal to you what you need today. Chapter 8 is so full of power! From the first verse to the last, you are covered. I know without a doubt when you open your eyes and He tell you where to go in chapter 8, it will be just for you, today.
I am going to chapter 8 and I will share what He gives me for the day. I am going to thank Him in advance for blessing us by His word!
He gave me Romans 8:11!!! Wonderful confirmation!! Thank you, Jesus!!
I want to pray for us today. I do not know about you, but for me there has been a lot of death and sickness surrounding me...... We all have an appointed time to leave this life, that I know. We know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Cor 5:8). I recognize, we still hurt.....
Father God, I want to pray for the person reading this post today, experiencing this death and disease season around them. I want to pray you give them peace and strength. Give them the words of condolences to speak or not speak. Allow them to be supportive while yet grieving the loss of their friend, child, parent, and family members. Allow them to trust you, no matter how the death occurred, to look beyond the physical and see you, the Almighty God. In all things, allow them to give you thanks. To worship the all powerful, all knowing, all loving God, that you are! We love you, we adore you, we bless your Holy name.
In the name of Jesus, Amen. Amen. Amen.
For me anticipation is a feeling of excitement/fear of what I know is going to happen. For example, I know my daughter is to graduate on May 27, this year.
Expectation is a feeling of something good/bad is about to happen. For example, I have a feeling of great things happening for her as she embarks into a life of independence.
I am anticipating the day of Jesus return. I know it is going to happen because it is in the bible. In expectation of His return, I am preparing myself to be ready.
Where are you this morning? Are you preparing yourself for the anticipated day of His return? He is coming back....
Are your expecting to stand before Him?
I am expecting great things for you, today, as we all prepare for the day of His return. I am expecting you to have increase in knowledge and wisdom. I am expecting you to be a light where there is so much darkness. I am expecting you to stand on the Word of God and not falter.
On Sunday I preached a sermon titled, "Lift it up to Him, let it go". This morning I want to share with you what the "it" is and inform you on how to lift it up to Him.
In order to lift it up to Him, you have to keep your mind on Him, know He cares for you, and know all your help comes from Him.
What are you lifting up to Him?
Fear.... He has not given you the spirit of fear, lift it up, let it go!
Depression... think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, a good report, lift it up, let it go!
Pain.... by His stripes you are healed, lift it up, let it go!
Hurt...God will make your enemies your footstool, lift it up, let it go!
Loneliness... God will not leave you or forsake you, lift it up, let it go!
There is so much more we are holding on to, lift it up to Him, let it go!!
God has it under control, you cannot fix it, but He has all power and ALL your help comes from Him!!!
Isaiah 26:3, 1 Peter 5:7
My Facebook account was hacked last night. I had to laugh about it, of all nights, to be hacked. You see I was just preparing to read, meditate, and pray. I wanted to go over my sermon for this morning. I was a bundle of nerves and my phone just started vibrating like crazy. It appears the hacker was sending videos to my friends but I do not think a video opened, it was after the passwords. It had happened to me earlier in the week, so I assume that is how they got my account.
Well, I may have been hacked but when I say I was so calm. I alerted my friends and then changed my password. This morning I just wanted to share, when life throws you a distraction, remain calm, God got it. Seek His guidance before you react. I can say I was not concerned about my account, I was more concerned for the many friends who may be affected.
I do not know what hackers get out of hacking FB accounts but I hope they know that all things work out for the good, for those who love God and are called according to His purpose.
All things!! Being hacked last night only confirmed the Word God has placed in my belly this morning to be birthed!!
I pray the peace of God surrounds you this day and every day!
Prayer gives you power to walk on purpose
