Good morning. Let's pray today.
Thank you Lord for being Jehovah Jihra. Thank you for being Jehovah Nissi. Thank you for being Jehovah Shalom. Thank you for being Jehovah Rapha. Thank you for being the great I Am. Thank you for being God, that sits high and looks low, but is not a respector of person. Thank you for Jesus. Thank you for the Son that intercedes on our behalf, daily. No greater love, than His death on the cross. No greater victory, than His resurrection. Thank you for the Holy Spirit, the comforter. Thank you Lord. Please cover this land. Please cover the people of this land. Please continue to give us mercy and grace. Please forgive our sins. Guide us this day. Let your will be done, in everything we do or say. We love you. We honor you. We adore you. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Amen. I read something last week and it came to mind this morning. I respect the opinions of others and so I believe how this person feels is valid for them.
One thing I read about the denoucing of a particular organization stuck out for me. It was mentioned that everyone in the organization was not saved..... Everybody on our jobs, in our homes, in our communities are not saved but we have to interact with them. How can we do what Jesus said if we only be with people who are saved? How do you truly know a person is saved? When Jesus came, He walked with all types of people, He healed from the lowest to the highest, He came that the world through HIm might be saved. (John 3:17) I am in several organizations and/or groups and I am certain everyone is not saved, but I continue to be who He called me to be. I continue to let my light so shine before man/woman, that they are drawn to HIm. I continue to lift HIm up, because the word tells me if He be lifted up He will draw ALL men to HIm. Again, I respect the views of others, this is just my thoughts on the matter. What are your thoughts? Please share them with me in the comment section. Matthew 5:16, John 12:32, Romans 12:2 I attended FAMU graduation this weekend and a thought came to mind this morning.
What does your future hold? We make plans, we get degrees, we start careers, but what does your future hold? As you are living down here, are you preparing for your future with HIm? Are you following the 2 commandments; love God and love your neighbor? Are you living a life, holy and acceptable to Him? Are you seeking Him daily for guidance? Do you pray, everyday, not my will but Your will be done? Remember, He knows the plan. Seek Him daily. Live on purpose. Read His instructions. What does your future hold? I do not know who you are, but He is waiting on you to say, "Yes"
There is an urgency for you to say, "Yes" You need to understand, "Yes" is just the starting point, not only for you, but others that are connected to your "Yes". There is peace, in "Yes" There is love, in "Yes" There is hope, in "Yes" There is purpose, in "Yes" There is joy, in "Yes" There is deliverance, in "Yes" There is overcoming, in "Yes" There is an abundance, in "Yes" Say, "Yes". Yesterday, we talked about, yes. Today, yes is still in my spirit. What is keeping you from telling God yes? Why are you afraid? Can I be honest with you? It took me awhile to say yes, too. I did not want to give up the things of this world. I did not want to give up the things I thought gave me pleasure. When I looked at myself, I realized those things actually gave me low self-esteem and lack of confidence. When I looked in the mirror and saw my reflection, I knew I had to say yes. When I said yes, my life has never been the same.
Look in the mirror. What do you see? Say yes. Will you say yes? Even if it means going into the valley of hell? Will you say yes, even if it do not feel good? Will you say yes, even when it is not in your plans? Will you say yes?
When you say yes that means you are in agreement. It means you trust God's will for your life. It means you surrender all to Him. Say yes..... P.S. I am having technical issues with my site, thank you for your patience and continued support. Last night, I was asked if I had changed my mind about being a minister. The person that asked me the question, based the question on not seeing me in the pulpit, at my church, since I gave my first sermon. Although, I have preached at another church since that time.
The enemy is busy....lol. I explained to the person that although I have not been in the pulpit, I have been ministering everyday. Ministry is not just being in the pulpit on Sunday, but serving God everyday. I mentioned the ministry, One Word for Life Ministry, LLC, the 5 books that were written this year, and my daily posting on website. I am working for the Lord. I told the person, for Christ I live and for Christ I die. I am going to keep running this race until He tell me stop. I see where the enemy could have came in and discouraged me with that question. But, glory to God, I can praise HIm and keep ministering. ******************************* Why did I share this morning? Because I want to remind you, when God calls you, He uses you. It does not matter what "man" thinks about your ministry and what it looks like. You do what God told you to do. When He called you, He qualified you. God is showing me the various gifts that have been deposited within me. He is preparing me for what is to come. I will be preaching, in the pulpit, in due season, but until then He is preparing the way. Do not let the world stop you from your calling/purpose. The world will not dictate your ministry, God is in charge. Minister Tonie Mapson I told God, yes. When I told Him yes, it was not contingent on how many people would purchase a book. It was not contingent on how many people would read my post. It was not contingent on my emotions. I simply said, yes.
I have tried to stop, when I heard the unrecognizable voice of defeat/failure. I say unrecognizable, because there is only one voice I know and recognize, and He will not let me fail. He knows the plans. He set me up. So when I get in my feelings, when I see the lack of participation on a post, when I see a low number of book sales, I praise God. I thank God and pray the ministry continue to be about His business and not my feelings. So do not stop what God has told you to do. Keep your mind on Him, not them. He knows the plan. Continue to praise and thank Him for the vision and provision. Have a great day!!!! During my prayers this morning, I saw a rainbow. Instantly, I was reminded of God's promise. The rainbow should remind you of God's promise, not a lifestyle. We need to teach our children about the rainbow and what it means. There is power and strength in knowing about our God. There is nothing new under the sun. The stories from the Old Testament to the New Testament, should be passed on from generation to generation.
I wonder what the answer would be, from some, if we asked what the rainbow represents. I might just randomly ask around today, I will let you know how that turn out. God left us an instruction book for a reason. We need to make sure generations after us know the word for themselves. The enemy is very cunning with how he is drawing people to eternal hell, but we have the power (through Christ) to lead them back to Christ. Remember, God left you many promises, and He also left you instructions. Follow Him, not them. Genesis 9: 11- 17, Matthew 28: 19-20 |
