I consider myself a pretty good cook. I often try new recipes, especially health conscious meals. Recently, I made bone broth. It was really easy to make. I started with bones and water. I did not add any seasonings until the process, 24-48 hours, was almost completed. I tasted it before I added vegetables and seasonings, it was bland.
Why did I share that? Well, because I was thinking this morning about our Christian walk. You can be Christian and go to church every Sunday, but if you don't add the seasonings....
What are the seasonings? Add some prayer. Add some fruit of the spirit. Add some faith. Add bible study and Sunday school. Add some witnessing. Most importantly, make sure you stay connected to the vine.
Add some seasoning, get off the same pew, every Sunday, returning home, with no seasonings.
