For some reason the word inhabit/habitation is on my mind. Have you ever wanted something or someone so bad, that you just did not know what to do? I'm there right now. I want so much of Jesus, I don't know what to do. I read the Word, I study the Word, I pray all day long, but I want so much more of Him. I hear God speaking, I see God moving, and I know He is with me, but I want so much more. I hunger for more of Him, that nothing else is important. When I read the word, when I go to bible study, and Sunday school, oftentimes I still feel like I know absolutely nothing. I'm so glad I trust God and have all confidence in Him and not myself. It is only because of Him that I can preach, pray, teach, evangelize, and use the gifts He has given me.
Are you there too? Are you seeking Him? Are you crying out to Him? Are you asking Him to give you more of Him? Are you in that place, you just want God, not the material things of this world?
Lord, I come before your throne today, first giving you all thanks. Thanking you for being God and God all by yourself. Lord, I pray for myself and the people who are crying out for more of you. Lord, guide us. Lord, lead us. Lord, show us the way. Lord, forgive us for our sins. Lord, have mercy upon us. Lord, we can't do anything without you. You are our everything. Lord, give us more of you. We come before you, humble, seeking your face, turning from our wicked ways, crying out for more of you. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Prayer gives you power to walk on purpose
