I was given an assignment. This assignment has given me joy and pain. I have often complained of it being a thorn in my side. I have prayed that the "cup" be removed from me. I have complained of being drained and tired. I have looked forward to this assignment ending.
Well, I finally have a "give up" spirit. My "give up" spirit is a good thing. I have prayed and prayed and I am going to look at this assignment differently. I am going to give up the complaining. I am going to give up the feeling of defeat. I am going to give up the negative thoughts. I am going to give up trying to figure it out. I am requesting that you look at your assignment differently. What assignment? The assignment that God has given you and you are fighting against. If you stop for a second, God will show you the assignment He has given you. Now, let's look at it differently: 1. God trust you with the assignment 2. God will provide everything you need for the assignment I suggest that as we continue on the assignment He has for us, that we stay in the Word. Write down some scriptures and commit them to memory. Here are some I use: Isaiah 54:17, 2 Corinthians 5:7, Romans 8:6, 18, 28, 30, 31, 38-39 (I like all of chapter 8).
