Happy Monday!! It is a start to a new week. Have you checked your calendar this morning?
Do you have meetings this week? Any events this week? How many days did you include time with God, on your calendar? Most, have not written the time they spend with God on their schedule, but they are fully aware of the time they have allotted for Him. Others, should write down the time, they will give God, to start a commitment, for daily devotion. God gives us all His time, everyday, individually. Why is it difficult for us to give Him an hour or two, to grow our relationship, with Him. I can not speak for you, but I can say, when I devote time to Him, my day is better. I feel the strength, He gives me, to run my race for the day. I feel the power, He gives me, to trample on the serpents and scorpions. I see His mercy and grace that follows me, throughout the day. Set an appointment, with God. Develop your relationship, with Him. He has things to tell you. Set an appointment.... Psalm 139: 7- 10, Ecclesiastes 3:1

I went to an amazing event yesterday. I met awesome people, mostly women, with a call of God upon their lives. To be in a place, so full of women who were able to celebrate each other, was life changing for some. To see women, who accepted the call to walk in their purpose, encourage one another, was beautiful.
There were women there that knew they had "something" to do, but was not sure. I believe in my spirit, they left, ready to accept the call. They left, equipped with the mind set to start. Not only, because they saw women there, who were already moving forward, but because God put them in the right place at the right time. He put them in position, to confirm the vision, He already gave them. What are you waiting for? God has called you, He has given you the vision, and now it is on you. Take the first step and allow Him to lead you the rest of the way. Stop giving Him excuses. He made you. He purposed you. He already equipped you. You were called..... Start the daycare, write the book, open the business, design the shirt, obtain the degree, secure the business license, or whatever vision He has given you. You were called.... Colossians 3:23, Habakkuk 2: 2-3 I recently had house guest that required me to use an air mattress. We used an air pump to pump up the mattress, once it was big and firm, we went to bed.
In the morning, the mattress was barely full, there was a leak present and air escaped. _________________________ So many times we get pumped up in church by the worship and the Word, but wake up Monday morning barely full. Somehow during the night, we forget. We forget Jesus is still present. We forget we can "pump ourselves up". We don't have to just worship and hear the Word on Sunday. Worship Him all day long, everyday. Simple. Don't let your worship and the Word, leak out of your heart, because you are not in a building. The church is you, wherever you are located. So, worship Him! Read and study the Word! Stay full at all times. Joshua 24:15, Psalm 34:1, Psalm 100: 1-5 I am still reading and studying Luke 13. This morning, I am in verses 22-30. After I read those verses, I sat back and took a deep breath. As I was taking that deep breath the thought came to mind, "This is serious".
A question was asked of Jesus about the number of people who will be saved. Jesus told the absolute truth (He always tell the truth), there are many who think they are going to enter the kingdom of heaven, but they will not. This passage of scripture includes the people pleading their case, because they ate and drank in His presence, is reason for entry. But, the scripture notes, He do not know them. There was no relationship. We have to have a relationship with Jesus. We have to seek His face. We have to follow the commandants he left us to love Him and our neighbor. We have to be a servant. We have to follow His example. This is so very serious. It is a matter of life and death. I choose life... __________________________________________ So, in my reading this morning, I had a thought. Is tradition killing the Holy Spirit? Now, I am all for service being decent and in order. I am all for not spending all day in church. But if the Holy Spirit is moving and I need to be there all day, then so be it. I was reading Luke 13: 10-17, and I kept going back to the leader of the synagogue. Jesus was in the synagogue and He missed it. ( The enemy was present, as well.) Instead of recognizing Jesus at work, he reprimanded Jesus for healing on the Sabbath. How many times have you been in a service, conference, or meeting of some form and the Holy Spirit is moving, but the leader stops the Spirit? We say we love Jesus, we say we adore Jesus, but are willing to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, if it goes beyond 1 hour? I believe in my heart if we would let the Holy Spirit truly have His way, not only would more people be set free, but because God knows his people, we would still leave church at a decent hour. I wonder how many of us would go to church if we had to clock in at 8 AM and out at 5 PM? Would we still love Him? Would we still adore Him? Or would we call out? Take a vacation every week? Ask someone to go in our place? I was reading a book, cannot remember the name right now. In this book, the author spoke about such an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that everyone was laid out in the Spirit. I want to witness an event like that one day before I get to Heaven. We can have that on this side, if we trust the Holy Spirit. Anything the Holy Spirit do, will be decent and in order. I do not want to be like the leader and miss the work of Jesus, to be in His presence and not recognize the power moving, because I want to be somewhere doing unimportant things such as laundry, eating, etc. Blessings!!! Luke 13: 10-17 There is a book that speaks on our mind and the battlefield. We are constantly on that battlefield, why? Because the enemy knows how to distract our mind. Today, we will stand on one accord, come together and cast the enemy out. Enough is enough!! Will you touch and agree with me?
Lord, we come together, praying over the minds of our family and friends. We rebuke the thoughts that distract us from hearing and obeying you. We rebuke the thoughts of depression, suicide, death, hopelessness, defeat, and fear. We will no longer allow satan and his imps to tell us who we are, what to do, when to do it, or where to go; he has no power. We will only hear and obey you. We will only believe what you have told us. We are the head and not the tail. We are above and not beneath. We are lenders and not borrowers. We are more than conquerors through you. We are heirs to the throne. We are your sons and daughters. We are victorious!! We will think and speak life. We will meditate on your word day and night. We will use our sword of the Spirit. We will stand on your word. Lord, we thank you. Lord, we count it done, in the name of Jesus! Amen. Amen. Amen. Philippians 4:8, 2 Timothy 1:7 |
